Field Day 2015 – Tuesday, May 12th

Aloha! It’s Field Day time again and we are using our traditional Hawaiian theme. Field Day will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Our rain date is Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Please note that the lunch schedules may be changed for some classes on field day and Terrie Hampton, our cafeteria manager, always prepares a special lunch on this day. On field day, there are activities throughout the day. Students will participate in centers, tug-of-war (grades 2-4), line dancing, relays, and watch a video of the day’s activities at 2:00. There will be water centers so your child may want to bring a change of clothes. Fifth grade students, who have earned the privilege to help on field day will escort kindergartners to their centers and then run the centers for the older grades.

The times for centers are as follows:
Kindergarten 8:30-9:45
1st and 2nd 10:00-11:15
3rd and 4th 12:45-2:00

Click here for the full schedule.

Christine Cliatt (770/381-6347) will be scheduling parent volunteers so please let her know if you would like to help. THIS EVENT WILL BE A SUCCESS WITH VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU.

Parents, you are more than welcome to come and join in the fun. And as always, a big “thank you” to the PTA for all their support.
